The Mill Postcard
The Mill is a long standing landmark along Route 66 in Lincoln, Illinois. Built as a sandwich stand in 1929, it served travelers and locals until it closed in 1999. After a great deal of effort, the building was acquired in 2006 by the Route 66 Heritage Foundation of Logan County. Preservation efforts to turn it into a museum have been ongoing for almost a decade. There is light at the end of the tunnel, but to see the doors open they need your help! Your purchase of this postcard will help preserve The Mill as a museum for current and future roadies to enjoy for many years to come.
