The Mill Magnet
Who says you can't have a well-adorned fridge and support a great cause at the same time? The Mill is a long standing landmark along Route 66 in Lincoln, Illinois. Built as a sandwich stand in 1929, it served travelers and locals until it closed in 1999. After a great deal of effort, the building was acquired in 2006 by the Route 66 Heritage Foundation of Logan County. Preservation efforts to turn it into a museum have been ongoing for almost a decade. There is light at the end of the tunnel, but to see the doors open they need your help! Your purchase of this fridge magnet will not only keep your coupons and other papers in line, it will help preserve The Mill as a museum for current and future roadies to enjoy for many years to come.
